WCCTV, the UK’s leading provider of redeployable CCTV, body worn cameras, and mobile surveillance systems, has relocated to a larger unit at Kingsway Business Park, Rochdale, to support its continued growth.
The move, supported by Rochdale Development Agency, ensures the business remains rooted in the borough while creating space for future expansion. WCCTV has moved from a smaller unit on Kingsway to a new, larger facility on the same site, retaining valuable jobs and investment in Rochdale while freeing up space for new businesses to join the growing business park.
The relocation reflects WCCTV’s rapid growth and rising demand for its products in the UK and globally. The new site offers increased production capacity, modern office space, and room to scale operations further.
The new premises were officially opened this month by the Mayor of Rochdale, Councillor Janet Emsley, who praised the company’s long-standing commitment to the borough.
Mayor Emsley said “WCCTV is a real Rochdale success story. I’m proud to open their new HQ and celebrate their continued contribution to local jobs, skills, and innovation.”
Founded in 2001, WCCTV has grown into a global leader in mobile surveillance technology, serving sectors including local government, construction, transport, and policing. The company’s move reinforces the importance of retaining high-growth businesses in Rochdale while supporting wider ambitions for economic growth.
Managing Director, David Gilbertson added “As demand for our products continues to grow, we needed a facility that matches our ambition. Kingsway Business Park is the ideal location, and we’re proud to continue our journey in Rochdale with the support of the RDA.”
Kingsway Business Park is one of the North West’s premier business locations, offering excellent transport links and a thriving community of employers across manufacturing, logistics, and technology.
