Rare Roman coin hoard to remain in Rochdale thanks to funding

A rare hoard of Roman coins discovered in a field in Littleborough has been acquired for Touchstone’s Rochdale borough cultural heritage collection.

The redevelopment of Touchstones, the borough’s major arts and heritage venue is progressing following the appointment of construction company H.H. Smith and Sons Ltd as main contractor.
